Subscription Policy

This Subscription Policy explains the terms and conditions governing your subscription to 9rank.ai services, including 9Rank SEO, RAG9, and Kernel9. This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

1. Products and Subscription Plans

9rank.ai offers three distinct product lines, each with its own set of subscription tiers:

9Rank SEO

AI-powered SEO audit, keyword research, competitor analysis, content tools, and rank tracking.

• Starter — $49/month ($39/month billed annually). 1 user seat, 1 project.
• Growth — $249/month ($199/month billed annually). 3 user seats, 5 projects, unlimited audits.
• Scale — $499/month ($399/month billed annually). Custom seats, 20+ projects, Developer API & MCP access.
• Agency — Custom pricing. White-label reporting, multi-client management, dedicated partner support.

RAG9

Enterprise knowledge base indexing engine with RAG-powered AI and MCP gateway access.

• Free — $0. 1 Kernel Workspace, public KB indexing, MCP gateway access, Kernel9 integration.
• Spark — $69/month ($55/month billed annually). 2 Kernel Workspaces, product reviews indexing, priority enrichment queue, webhook sync.
• Scale — $179/month ($143/month billed annually). 5 Kernel Workspaces, orders & inventory indexed, internal knowledge bot, priority support.
• Enterprise — Custom pricing. Unlimited workspaces, dedicated vector cluster, SSO + RBAC, SLA + Dedicated CSM.

Kernel9

AI-first customer support OS with RAG-powered chatbot, human handoff, ticket management, department routing, and global benchmarking.

• Starter — $39/month ($31/month billed annually). 1 Chat Widget, 1,000 conversations/month, 200+ language auto-reply, ticket routing.
• Growth — $89/month ($71/month billed annually). 3 Chat Widgets, 10,000 conversations/month, human handoff, department routing, SLA timers, white-label.
• Scale — $249/month ($199/month billed annually). 10 Chat Widgets, unlimited conversations, VoIP integration (coming Q4 2026), performance benchmarks, priority support + SLA.
• Enterprise — Custom pricing. Unlimited widgets, dedicated infrastructure, custom SLA, SSO + RBAC, on-premise deployment option, Dedicated CSM.

All plan details, including current feature lists, are available on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust plan features and limits with reasonable notice.

2. Billing Cycle

Monthly Subscriptions: By purchasing a monthly subscription, you authorize 9rank.ai to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Your billing date is determined by the date of your initial subscription activation.

Annual Subscriptions: By selecting an annual plan, you authorize 9rank.ai to charge the full annual fee at the time of purchase and on a recurring annual basis thereafter. Annual plans include a discount compared to the equivalent monthly rate (typically 20–22% savings). You acknowledge this discount is contingent on completing the full annual term.

3. Automatic Renewal

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable fee for the next period. By subscribing, you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. You may disable auto-renewal at any time from your dashboard's Billing & Plan section.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time with no penalty. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.

• How to Cancel: Navigate to Dashboard → Billing & Plan → Cancel Subscription, or contact [email protected].
• Access After Cancellation: You retain full access to your plan features until the billing period ends. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier (where available for that product) or access is restricted.
• No Prorated Refunds: Per our Refund Policy, we do not issue prorated refunds for unused days in a billing period.
• Annual Plan Cancellation: Cancelling an annual plan stops future renewals. No refund is issued for the remaining unused months of the current annual term.

5. Free Plans and Trial Access

The RAG9 Free plan is available indefinitely at no charge within stated limits. Paid plans do not include a free trial period by default, though promotional free trials may be offered at our discretion. Any such trial terms will be clearly stated at the time of offer. After a trial ends, you will be automatically charged at the standard rate unless you cancel before the trial period expires.

6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrades: You can upgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle, and your new plan's features become available immediately. Your billing date remains unchanged.

Downgrades: You can downgrade at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain your current plan's features and limits until the end of the current billing period. Downgrading may result in data or workspace limits being reduced; excess data may be archived or removed after a 30-day grace period.

7. Multi-Product Subscriptions

If you subscribe to multiple 9rank.ai products (e.g., both RAG9 and Kernel9), each subscription is billed and managed independently. Cancelling one product does not affect your other active subscriptions.

8. Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other payment methods displayed during checkout, processed securely via Stripe. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete billing information. If a payment fails (e.g., due to card expiry or insufficient funds), we may retry the charge and will notify you. Access may be suspended until payment is resolved. You remain responsible for any uncollected amounts.

9. Fee Changes

9rank.ai may adjust subscription fees at any time. Any fee change becomes effective at the end of your then-current billing cycle. We will provide at least 14 days' prior notice of any fee increase via email or a dashboard notification. Your continued use of the Service after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

10. Taxes

Prices listed are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., VAT, GST, sales tax). Where required by law, applicable taxes will be calculated and added to your invoice at the time of billing. You are responsible for all applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

11. Enterprise and Custom Plans

Enterprise plans for any product are negotiated directly and governed by a separate Order Form and Master Service Agreement (MSA). Contact [email protected] for enterprise pricing. Enterprise plan billing, renewal, and cancellation terms are as specified in the applicable Order Form.
